 | The first quarter of 2025 has been nothing short of phenomenal for Give It To The People! As we step boldly into our fourth official year of business, we’re celebrating momentum, milestones, and meaningful impact across North Carolina and beyond. Here’s how we’ve kicked off the year with intention, innovation, and inspiration. January: New Year, New Membership, Bold MovesWe launched the Give It Get It Business Membership, a powerful resource designed for entrepreneurs and business support organizations who want access to monthly trainings, marketing tools, and community. We’re thrilled to have already welcomed 50 founding members into the fold—each one committed to learning, growing, and thriving. We also joined the City of Durham’s DMEDI (Durham Minority Entrepreneurship Development Initiative) cohort, working collaboratively to uplift minority-owned businesses and strengthen the local business ecosystem. Another exciting milestone—Give It To The People was selected as a Marketing Service Provider for HUSTLE Winston-Salem’s “Marketing Outside the Box” Program. As part of this initiative, we delivered a successful social media reinvigoration and created a PR strategy that’s already helping our client attract new customers and increase brand awareness. This partnership highlights the impact we’re committed to bringing to every entrepreneur we serve. February: Education, Leadership, and LegacyIn February, we proudly collaborated with District C and the talented students at Durham Academy, mentoring the next generation of entrepreneurial thinkers. We also became official members of the NABJ Triangle Chapter, aligning with journalists and storytellers to elevate BIPOC voices in business. To celebrate Black excellence and unity, we hosted our annual BLK Leaders Luncheon, gathering powerful leaders to exchange ideas, build partnerships, and strengthen our collective future. March: Empowerment Through EventsMarch brought the energy! We curated two dynamic events: the Beauty Biz Summit, creating space for beauty professionals to level up, and the Small Business Expansion Summit, designed to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses with sustainable strategies. We also wrapped up our Winter Expert Training Series with Google Digital Coaches, empowering participants with digital tools and growth insights.
